During my time at Pearlfisher, I worked with a team of designers on the packaging revamp of Roland Foods' products. I was involved in the entire process of this project, from concept development to the creation of the brand world and guidebook. I was later hired by Roland Foods as a packaging designer and designed a variety of packages, including the Coconut Milk, Coconut Cream, Peppers, Shellfish, Pestos, and Grains.

The initial phases of concept development included an exploration of flat illustrations that tell the story of the product. They depict the product itself, the product in use, and an element that refers to its country of origin. We also explored the combination of these flat illustrations with photography.
The final design of Roland Foods' packaging includes a box referred to as "the table" where all the typography related to the product lives. It sits on the front center of the packaging and is surrounded by illustrations.The style and content of these illustrations varies between products, which enables us to give each product a different personality.
